Just read an article about Mary Jane Veloso and that is probably the most heartbreaking thing I've heard in awhile. I signed a petition for her and wish her the best.

I don't know why I feel so bad about that, it's not like there was not horrors in the world every day but this so-called justice makes me really sick. Some of those "dangerous criminals" have always claimed their innocence, one is schizophrenic guy, one was caught with a small quantity of drugs that was obviously not a big traffic (if not just for personal use)... Even for the obviously guilty ones, the punishment is way too severe regarding what they have done.

Thanks for the giveaway. I'm Australian, and Mary Jane Veloso along with Chan and Sukumaran are in the news a lot here, especially now. It disappoints me a lot that this situation is heading the way it is. I feel so sorry for her kids. The poor families. I hope Indonesia will review their policies and allow better legal investigation into these matters in the future.

I hope so too. I've seen Myuran's paintings a few hours ago on international medias. It's a shame that most newspapers in my country (France) have gone down on coverage of this since Serge Atlaoui's execution has been stopped.

I just read something about her execution being canceled. Good for her, though it doesn't make the situation suck any less. This whole thing pisses me off to no end. Human beings can be so cruel sometimes.
