Used to be an user that claimed Devil Daggers, was the best game ever made, he was pretty consistent and insistent about it. Didn't know they were gone from the site, that's kind of sad.
I had a reference to the thread in an old post that was easy to dig up, so at least the title of the main thread on that topic- and a clear idea of why the game became an SG meme- can be preserved. :P
iirc, To The Moon is the first best game ever made that they're alluding to the existance of in the title (and I also recall that ambi was equally a fan of the later games by that developer, when they came out)
