hey Gaffi, you are completely right but the case was that with the key from humble bundle the DLC "Grid Ultimate Edition Upgrade" was not given. I bought it by myself and this DLC was not activated in my account.
The ultimate edition gives the individual DLCs, but not the ultimate edition upgrade DLC. It's an oversight by the publishers, one that's all too common.
I'm going to assume this is the correct heading for this GA, and that it isn't the humble bundle one:
Then it's not a problem. If you own the different licenses for all three, but not this upgrade license, then you should be able to redeem it - remember, the licenses for those individual games, not the games themselves, the games are actually inconsequential as licences and not games are what Steam works with.
As you already own everything this license covers, you will not get any new content at all, but you will have redeemed an new license on your account - so then it is properly received and should be marked as such.
And this is why its so important for users to check if they own the game/pass/pack/DLC when we are talking about GA's that deal with anything but the base game as these things are rather common there.
Now if this is the humble bundle key, it is still good, as (as mentioned above) the winner will get what is advertised, and more.
Not more content that will show up on their account, as they will most likely own the base game already to enter this, but they will receive the umbrella license for the base game again, and that is not included now in the game description, so is considered ''extra''.
The GA descriptions says it's from Humble Monthly, so yes it is the Ultimate Edition. The winner would not then own the appid used for this giveaway, which means they're breaking the rules of SG. I don't know if mod tools for that rule on DLC are as broken as the rest of the site, but it could result in a suspension.

I do own S1, S2, S3 yes
But I don't own this DLC.
So how can someone that wins this giveaway mark it correctly as received if he doesn't really own this DLC?
Maybe the game in this giveaway should just be changed to GRID Ultimate Edition now that it is availabe :-)
