And about SU - it used to be easy - Garnet FTW. But right now - I don't know. Garnet, Pearl and Peridot are all great! Garnet is this super cool and strong one, Pearl is similar to me in lot places and Peridot is clumsy and sweet :3 Plus I don't think I have favourite episode? But I'd vote for one when Ruby and Sapphire were arguing about fusion with Pearl. It was funny to look at rage-on Ruby xD
Please do, while it does start a bit childish and episodic near the beginning, After about 12-or-so episodes a very strong underlying story will present itself. Once you get hooked nothing will be able to stop you. Along with stuff like Over the Garden Wall and Gravity Falls, one of the best cartoons to come out in years.
