Wasn't this game pulled in 2015, and re-released as this? Did you somehow get a Steam key before it was pulled? Or am I missing something obvious?

It's a Steam key. I managed to grab a couple from a website that was selling them after the game was taken down.
(That's how I got the game for myself as well.)
