Mine says that as well. I own Hitman 1 and some maps or something for Hitman 2 that everyone got for free who owned the first game. It is saying I own the game when I don't. lol

It could be from playing a Free Weekend, or the free level.

You probably have the free Hitman 2 Starter Pack which includes the first mission but shows up as you owning Hitman 2.

I know I had the same problem with Hitman 1 giveaways because the first episode was for free at one point. You have to delete the free stuff you redeemed from your steam library. there was a tutorial for this: how to permanently remove games from steam, you can search for it. after that, just click sync with steam and the "Exists in account" message will disappear.

Ok, so it's basically the full package

Only the Gold Edition and Collector Editions contain what the developer/publisher deems to be the "full package" [as can be determined by the Steam store page, which lists "Full Game" next to the Gold Edition].
