Please no generic thank you msg unless you are a bot & want to be blacklisted.
Instead, you may suggest me a good movie to prove you are a human.
Would love if the winner at least tries the DLC.
GL everyone!
Please Note: It's a DLC. Make sure you don't already own it.

LOTR is a good movie.
this DLC is 100% worth it to, even if you don't do the DLC missions just the extra classes you can get during the story are very useful(especially the oracle)
Comment has been collapsed.
Agreed, LOTR is great.
Comment has been collapsed.
I think LOTR is my favorite too tbh

Very much on the modern side, but Upgrade is a sci-fi movie I enjoyed a lot. 😼
Comment has been collapsed.
Oh, it was a great movie.
So much better than the somewhat similar Lucy and Transcendence

That's quite funny in places, despite being quite dark in places too.
"You thought I was an invalid, but you didn't know I'm a fucking ninja!"

I just watched Despicable Me 4. Kids enjoyed the series up to now. It's certainly not the best movie ever, but will be more enjoyable I think if you are already a fan of the franchise.
Comment has been collapsed.
Oh, I didn't know there are 4 of them now. I think I have seen only the first 2.
Thanks.

I can't remember the last movie I saw that wasn't terrible, so I rarely watch them anymore. You can't enter this without owning the base game, so no need to worry there.
Comment has been collapsed.
I agree, most newer movies are bad. There are a lot of older one I have not watched yet.
I am not talking about owning the base. I am talking about already owning the DLC. Steam doesn't allow tracking ownership of DLCs, so even those who already own it will be able to enter it.
Comment has been collapsed.
Ah, that makes more sense. I must have misread. I always add DLC and packages I own to my hidden list. I don't own any for this one though.

Np 👍

Have you seen 'Train to Busan' ? It's really fun
Comment has been collapsed.
Yes. It was good, but a bit hyped.

The first half was the perfect zombie film. Then it went a bit off the rails, but I still loved that film.

Not a fan of war related movies (specially war-drama).
Thanks.
Comment has been collapsed.
It's more like John Wick vs Nazis than a war movie. But I get your point, so here's another that I really liked: Troll Hunter
Comment has been collapsed.
I see. I'll keep that in mind, but probably might not watch it any time soon.
Thanks for the new suggestion. It look good.

Blade Runner is my fave
Comment has been collapsed.
It's good. Might have to rewatch it as I was probably too young to really get it.

I enjoyed His Girl Friday (1940), Tintin (2011) and Operation Mad Ball (1957)

Thanks! Loved Tintin!

Given that most people suggest the most popular franchises, I'd like to add an underdog: 12th Fail , it's and Hindi movie. There's people who don't like Hindi movies due to their relation with music and different customs, but I find this one easier to digest. It finds a commonplace of value between our cultures: Effort.
Comment has been collapsed.
I am an Indian and Hindi is my mother tongue but even I don't like Hindi movies because of music and well because they rarely made good movies earlier, though it seems that now some smaller budget movies are trying to remedy that.
Well, I have noted it down, might try someday.
Thanks!

I loved the film Colour Out Of Space. It's an adaptation of a Lovecraft short story, and 90% of his stories are really hard to adapt (hence Innsmouth over and over again), but I thought they succeeded with this.
Also, it has Nicholas Cage being weird, which is a plus for any film.

Wow, thanks!

This DLC sounds interesting. Already started playing the base game so know I will get to this if I win.
Movie suggestion is hard, as I would probably just say The Matrix, or Aliens, but you must have seen those already.
So I'll go a bit older and say Forbidden Planet, or The Andromeda Strain.

All the best and thanks!

I recently enjoyed Pacific Rim. It's good movie if you want turn off your brain and watch giant robots fight giant monsters.

Agreed. Thanks.

Office Space! Great little movie about work culture in the 90's, written and directed by Mike Judge.

It was fun. Saw it a few years ago. Thanks.

2001 is my favourite movie of all time probably, but you probably have seen it.
So, I'll go ahead and suggest Fantastic Planet, which is a surreal European animated movie from the 60s. It's a fascinating watch.
Comment has been collapsed.
I actually have not seen it. I got buried in my huge watch list somewhere. Thanks for reminding about it.

Try "Predestination" for a weird time travel movie.

Weird doesn't do it justice. Loved it.
Thanks.

The Muppet Movie (1979), doesn't get more human than that

I'm Japanese and my English is bad.
I can't give you a smart answer like others, but I think "Zatoichi" is a good movie.
Comment has been collapsed.
That is a great suggestion. One of the best.
Thanks.
PS: I am open to watching movies in any language. So lemme know if you have any more great suggestions.

Takeshi Kitano's movies are interesting.
The movie ``Brother'' was also interesting.
If you don't mind Yakuza movies, please check it out.

Yakuza movies are fine too. I mean I have never seen one so I don't know really.
Thanks for another great suggestion. Added it to list.

I saw "Shutter Island" yesterday. That's an old movie, but it's interesting and makes you think!
It's been a long time since I wanted to watch "The Sixth Sense."

Seen both, and both are one of the best mystery movies.

I was listening to techno earlier today, so feel like I need to recommend Run Lola Run. But only if you feel like listening to techno. Hackers is a guilty favorite.

Heard of never seen either. Added to list. Thanks.

Two Is a Family (Demain tout commence) which is a french remake of the Mexican film Instructions Not Included (No se Aceptan Devoluciones).
Didn't see the original but liked the remake a lot.

Thanks. Will check them both out.

Yeah, this one. It's 3 hours long, but it's definitely worth the watch

Got it. Looks interesting. Thanks!

Highest recommendation I can give is Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail.
Comment has been collapsed.
Oh, I wanna watch it. Heard so much about it. Thanks for reminding me.
Comment has been collapsed.
Strictly speaking, anything Monty Python is worth watching, but I hope you have as much fun as I've had watching Holy Grail.
Comment has been collapsed.
I hope so too.
Are the movies episodic in nature or do I need to watch them in some sequence to understand them?
Comment has been collapsed.
They're all independent productions. Monty Python did have a TV comedy series (Monty Python's Flying Circus) which has quite a few interesting memorable skits (like the Dead Parrot.
Comment has been collapsed.
I think I understand. Thanks for the info.
