Beyond the Sea expands the game world of the fan- and press-acclaimed economic simulation Rise of Venice not only by 13 new cities, but also by numerous residence missions that involve the player's family more in the game, special Doge tasks that make the office of Doge of Venice even more challenging, and a completely new ship class: the Nao, the famous ship type with which Christopher Columbus discovered America in 1492.
