I feel like you were closer to 100...

100 is a lot... it only feels like 100!

As an aside, I unsubscribed from HB Monthly last December after having been a supporter/subscriber since almost HB's inception. I still buy the occasional bundle if it has three or more games I'd like. I also buy their book bundles - the Terry Prachett book bundle is an incredible deal! But HB doesn't bundle games in the genre's that I enjoy - or so rarely as to be never.
With bundle sites getting few and far between plus a lot more expensive, once I finally clean out all of my old keys (many of which are proving to be removed or no longer good), I won't be doing major trains like this anymore. I suspect that future community trains will continue to shrink since sites like Fanatical allow buyers to pick and choose a few games rather than throwing the kitchen sink against the wall, mettaforically speaking (TP reference :-p).

I would have loved to buy the novel bundles on HB, but they're region restricted. Enjoy.

Oh really? That is very, very sad... literature should not be bound by any restrictions :-(

what do you mean? you can't buy or can't activate? ...or both?
are you talking about Sakura one?

No, I was specifically talking about the Novel Book bundles (like the Terry Pratchett one mentioned above).

oh, ok.

I agree with the reduced allure of some of the bundles. People seem to like Fanaticals mystery bundles though, so I imagine keys will still be around.

True but think of all the bundle sites that have gone dark...
I used to wait with bated breath for each new Groupees and try to figure out the cryptic drawings.
IndieGala used to have awesome new bundles each week.
HB was less prolific with their bundles but each one was carefully curated to include awesome games with something for everyone.
At least Fanatical has held onto
DIG, while lower tier, was not the home of asset flips that it is today.
There were others... Greenman gaming - I think now part of a different site.

Ah, I missed most of that when my kid was born, so I kinda jumped from early awesome cheap Humble Bundles, to now, with 5 to infinite number years of tired inbetween.
There is definitely some junk stuff out there these days though.

I had a heart attack (after afib surgery not cause of blockages) five years ago. I was still somewhat active but the decline has been stark...

I also occasionally buy books on HB, the last book bundle I purchased was the Ender game series by Orson Scott. I wish there were a site like HB that allows to purchase book bundles in a similar way

Fanatical has book bundles as well, also there is a site called storybundles that only has book bundles.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll check that out

I was excited to hear about the Terry Pratchett bundle but it's US only. The books are via kobo.com - does that mean they aren't DRM free? Are they at least Kindle compatible? I'm wondering whether it's even worth trying to get around the region restriction.

They only can be read on a Kobo account, which is free to download and use - so yes, drm-free technically . I'd try to get that app first before trying to vpn around the restriction. They do not run on a kindle or other e-readers. Pretty sure this is a marketing effort by Kobo to sell their e-readers but the app works fine on my laptop.

Thanks! I'll give it a miss then.
