So here is the Thing...
What does hatched (new born) duckling (baby duck) eat? it's been 3 days and it won't eat any duckling food but water.
Don't start with the duck parents cause the mom duck is scared by duckling (don't know why) and the crazy papa duck almost blindfolded the poor duckling.
so it's a diamond duck... dd
no animal care around... no one in my city knows about taking care of ducks and duckling.
I'm ducked.
any way, what to do...

I googled "duckling won't eat" and got too much information to type here. Good luck with it!

I found out this:
"At first, ducklings do not have to worry too much about food. This is because ducklings have built-in yolk sacks, which consist of leftover egg yolk from the eggs in which the ducklings grew. The yolk sack has enough nutrients to nourish a duckling for three whole days. While ducklings are traveling with their mother to find food, the nutrients from the yolk sack keep them full."
So for the first 3 days they won't eat?!
Very nice of you to help out. :)

Try bread, barley flour or oats soaked in milk. Also clover, dandelion and stinging nettle, all very finely chopped. If it won't eat any of this you can try mashed hard boiled yolk. Good luck!
