There's this though, saying it's a free, open-source version of the game: http://www.xonotic.org/
Edit: Oh, so Nexuiz was originally an open-source game, and the team founder sold the game rights which ended up with the game in the giveaway above. Then the team created Xonotic.

it's simple - not offered means it's rare. rare means more valuable... =D
