It's been some time ago, so I don't remember all the context, but from your comments in some discussions back then I got the impression you were on some overzealous crusade against "rule breakers" or something and to me it seemed bordering with backseat moderating (but i'm probably lacking a lot of context). So it just felt disagreeable to me.
Also back then I may have had some unactivated wins, and didn't want to risk accidentally entering your giveaway (though I'm not sure if you made public giveaways back then).
