Thanks. I used to be but haven't played with physical MTG cards in 15 years or so. Can't say I've spent much time playing the digital offerings either lately.
I remember buying into 2 years of this stuff for 2013 and 2014, before giving up for the same reason i stopped playing the card game. Tired of buying the same product every year. (Makes you wonder how EA does it with soo many titles.....)
Happy that MtG switched over to a better free service option, with seasonal updates for sales.
Thx for a chance at delving into some MtG history, and maybe inspiration to try finishing an old playthrough as i dont think i ever beat the 2 that came before this.
Man I never got into Magic like most others. I was more of the Pokemon Fan who sat in the corner with the others as the Magic players took up 2/3 of the shop and cursed at each other. Not my style but boy did it have some amazing cards. I love that they carried that over to the Steam Card Collection.
There are only 6 cards but each is lovingly hand crafted in beautiful black ink with a touch of color in one focus point. Real art. I especially love Ajani Goldmane!
The badges are a nice their color change. Including the foil.
The Emoji are nothing to special, but most emoji aren't.
Finally those beautiful backgrounds. If only the game had been released in the last year. I could easily see them doing 2D animated backgrounds and icons for this set.
So ya, this is an amazing set for collectors along with a fun card game. I hope I win. I hope who ever does. Appreciates this game and collects that set.

I see that they removed it from steam, can you still play the game? does it have a single player mode?
