Not everyone gets games on Steam [that they already own elsewhere] just to have them on Steam. As such, "just a reminder that this was already free on epic, and you may have it there" is information that some may find useful. All the more so given how prolific Epic freebies have been, making it all the easier to have a mental hiccup as far as overlooking that a game is already owned.
