Fun Fact: The Megamouth Shark is one of three filter-feeding shark species currently alive on Earth but it the less well-known. It's smaller than the Whale Shark and the Basking Shark and was only discovered in 1976. Less than 100 specimens have ever been observed or caught. They filter water for plankton and jellyfish to eat. Don't be alarmed by their giant mouths! They don't want to eat you :)
