This game has such a wonderful, moving little story, that hit me right in the feels. It will resonate extra for anyone who has had experiences with growing up or raising children in a different culture from the rest of their family. It is more about the narrative than the cooking parts though, but the cooking parts are beautifully done as well, and you also get the real recepies in the game, if you want to try making any of the food in real life.
Definitely recommmend this little gem to anyone who seems even slightly interested, and it is super shot too, about the length of an average movie.
