Watching more than reading but if the manga is better than the anime I will read that.

Many anime have disappointing ending or maybe even took different route from original manga (which usually turn out to be bad)
Ever heard of Fullmetal Alchemist?
They have 2 version, one before the original story finished, one after
Similar but different endings

TL;DR it's like reading novel (LOTR, GoT) turned into movies

I watch anime from time to time (currently only Attack on Titan).

Both! I read more manga than I watch anime, but that's mostly because of time constraints. Some of my favourite series are Wandering Son, Natsume's Book of Friends, and The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window.

Predominantly manga. I try to go for completed series these days. Genre preferences all over the place (depending on the mood) but here's a few I've read and liked: Mushishi, Corseltel no Ryuujutsushi, Pet Shop of Horrors, Terra e..., Pumpkin Scissors, Hotel (Boichi), Meitantei Conan, FMA, Kaze no Tani no Nausicaä, Kieli, previously mentioned Natsume's Book of Friends, Katana. How about you?
