This is a rhythem game, in the same genre as Guitar Hero. Unlike Guitar Hero, however, this is a game of combat. Hit notes to cast spells, block attacks, or recharge mana. But be warned: you can only do one at a time. It also includes some basic RPG mechanics including stats and equipment.
The artwork is beautiful, the music is captivating (click here to hear some samples.), the plot is actually quite interesting, and the gameplay is addictive (btw, I highly recommend a gamepad for this game). This is probably my favorite Indie game of all time, and it gave me 10 hours of playtime just to get through the storyline.
