do NOT play this game with keyboard controls, it is miserable
anyway I have an active vendetta against this game :) maybe it's better with a controller or has been polished up since I played it but it has earned my eternal ire
so many 2D/2.5D games play better with a controller, I honestly only want to go KBM if its a FPS or something that really benefits from that level of control(MMOs/things like Diablo 2/Path of Exile)
I didn't have a PC controller yet when I played through this one! I didn't have fundamental problems playing through other platformers like Fly'n or Freedom Planet with a keyboard (and I was still quite new to PC gaming so a keyboard wasn't natural to me), but the keybinds in Shu were extremely awkward and there were no options to rebind them either! It was not a good time haha
I do hope that's changed since I played or that it's way more natural on a controller, because when I started it I did want to like this game!

I was a bit confused if it's worth trying or not.... no longer confused.
Hopefully the game's better now or was designed for a controller in the first place! It started cute and I wanted to like it, but when the act of playing the thing was so unintuitive I wanted it to hurry up and be over so I could dance on its grave :V

Lol... never seen anyone so disappointed with a game before. Except maybe one old friend. But he did have a few screws loose.
