problem is most noobs dont have enough common sense to know that opening a giveaway entails THEM giving away a game and not receiving one, thats the problem. Not to mention the fact that he did not put any description describing him giving it away by email or through steam also makes it suspicious, but im sure you knew that and were just trying to be a smart ass.

If he already has the game, then what you're saying doesn't really make sense, does it? Why would he try to win a game that he already has? What might be a problem is if he thinks that he can just give away the game he owns in his steam account.
Unfortunately, people seem to dismiss FAQs and such, so the only way to be sure is when people already have gifts marked as "received"... but it's very unlikely that this guy thinks opening giveaways will give HIM the gift (at least it's my opinion)
