Awesome, thank you for this game! I'm installing it now and I'll give it a go once I finish with The Turing Test (I started a day or so ago and am about halfway through it).
It's an excellent game, I really liked it. And that graphics/optimization ratio is freaking delicious. Don't worry if you don't like it, though. Unlike most people, I don't mind if you don't finish a win, as long as you eventually give the game a try. :P
I'm only 10%ish into it (by stats menu count...so that's actually, what...2%?) and I'm having a blast. It's not the best game ever, but it's unique for what it is. Thanks again :-)
Agreed - could certainly have been better as a game, as in more things to do and explore but... I understand the limitations set by the lore of the world of Mad Max. Emptiness, desert. :P
I tried watching the original a year or more ago. Made it 20 minutes. Same with Fury Road. But I heard this game is good even without caring about the movies. Don't remember which SG member made the recommendation, but I appreciate it!
Now if there was a way to skip the intro movies...

I saw on your profile that the GAs were created and when they started, but there was no way to know how long they'd be open. Since I knew I wouldn't be able to stay awake long enough to catch them when they start, yesterday evening I kept thinking about leaving a message on your Steam profile to ask how long they'd be up, to make sure I could enter after waking up. But I kept thinking "No way, he'd get offended if I bothered him about it, surely he's aware that not everyone can be online at the time, and he didn't even say they'd up at that exact time, and not everyone would check his profile. There's no way he'd make them last less than half a day, stop worrying about it and go to sleep."
Well, fuck. The one time my excessive worrying about everything is spot on, I ignore it.
Why worry so much about entering for a game? Stress is bad for your health. You have almost 1300 games on Steam, I'm sure you can find something interesting to play :)
