In my opinion, Faircroft's Antiques is one of the best hidden object series on Steam (and outside Steam as well), therefore I'm extremely happy for the opportunity to share this game with you.
All of the 5 installments (4 are already published on Steam and the 5th one will launch in June 2022) can be played as standalone titles (no prior knowledge of the previous storylines is required). They all have substantially good writing and entertaining narratives, and they are among the longest HOGs out there, each offering around 10h of fun.
The games follow the adventures of Mia Faircroft - a young art restorer who travels all around the world and helps people refurbish their antiques, but also mends their hearts with her positive and kind personality.
Faircroft's Antiques: The Heir of Glen Kinnoch is the second game in the series and also a quite a noticeable step up from the first game in terms of graphics’ sharpness and story cohesion, plus the minigames have an increased fun factor. Unfortunately this game does not have Steam achievements.

Thanks so much sensualshakti, based on what you've said about it I'm happy that this will be basically my first hidden object game!

It doesn't really follow the current agreed-upon formula of HOGs but it's still very close to it. The HOGs released in the past years usually have a lot of cutscenes, while Faircroft replaces them with dialogues. And you usually have to move from location to location, back and forth while solving some standard puzzles, while here it's not quite like that. But I hope you'll like it at least as much as I did.

Hi Lilly,
I want to give away XCOM 2 for the Christmas calendar, but I'm confused regarding the region locks. I'm in Germany and the key is from a Humble Monthly bundle.
Could you please help?

If you have it from May 2020 Humble Choice, then all three XCOM 2 items (base and 2 DLC) can be redeemed anywhere.
For the February 2017 Humble Monthly it should probably be the same sub (meaning, redeemable everywhere if it's bought from Europe), but there's a slight chance for it to be the EU sub. The February 2017 Humble Monthly thread was not created by me, and the person didn't follow up or inquire about any subs, so we don't know for sure what EU got. I only know the subs from a ROW purchase, but not the ones from a EU purchase.
There's one discussion according to which keys were not initially allocated to EU purchases, which could be a hint that EU received region locked keys, but not necessarily a fact. EU could as well have received ROW keys, like it happened with the May 2020 Humble Choice.
The gift link notification also shows that EU received a key that can be redeemed everywhere.
In other words: I would create the giveaway without restrictions.

Thank you very much for this in depth reply and your efforts. I tried to give the key away once before and the winner was not able to redeem it because of regional restrictions (thankfully it was in a closed group), so I'm assuming I'm sadly sitting on a region locked to Europe key here.
PS: The winner back then was from the Ukraine. Does it make a difference?

The sub from May 2020 Humble Choice is sub/88099 - we know for sure that it can be redeemed everywhere.
The sub for EU purchases from February 2017 Humble Monthly could be either the above one, or sub/192003 (the only option available for Europe) which can be activated anywhere apart from LATAM, Asia, USA (check the red box on SteamDB for this package). Even if you got this one, your winner from Ukraine should have been able to redeem it, unless his Steam account is set to a country from LATAM, Asia, USA.
The gift link notification states that the ROW key is not redeemable in Ukraine (UA is present in the list) but these gift link notifications should be read as "these countries receive a region locked key" and not "the key you receive cannot be redeemed in these countries".
Also, there is no low-violence version for Germany so it shouldn't & couldn't be anything else than sub/88099 or sub/192003.
So I can see the following explanations:
If you want to be 100% sure of what you're giving away, then you need someone trustworthy that has ASF and owns the game already, to check the exact sub. I can do that for you if you wish (you'll need to add me on Steam or discuss on Discord, since this is a public place unfit for pasting keys). I already have the game and the DLCs so there's no way for you to lose the key in the process (unless it's some outlandish package not indexed on SteamDB or something like that - I doubt it though), and if you need a reassurance that I don't redeem it on a secondary account (or if it somehow happens that it redeems on my ASF), I can send you a ROW key (sub/88099) in case yours turns out to be a dupe when the giveaway ends.

I've sent you a friend request.
I really admire your will to understand all of this. It seems so complicated and convoluted to me...
Thank you for offering to check this key for me ♥
