Hey in case you come online. Pick a new winner. I can't activate this game in Germany. Good luck everyone else. I guess I have to check this before I join a giveaway in the future. I forgot that Germany is really good at censoring games. We hate it. But there is nothing we can do about it. I was braindead joining every giveaway I could afford the points for so I have more chances to increase my games owned count on Steam.

Hello DefaultO.

You've stated you can't activate the game, but how do you know that when you didn't reveal the key to try it? We're asking because if the giveaway was incorrectly region-restricted then the reroll is not possible. If you think you can't activate because you don't have a Store page for the game, that doesn't necessarily mean the game wouldn't still activate for you - many games that are not available on the German Steam Store can still be successfully activated via key purchases. But if you have some information that the key won't activate, then please let us know.

Didn't bother looking at the key, so it can be rerolled without any problems. I guess it works. Seems to be an unreleased game. Because what I ended up activating with this key is a "Complimentary reviewer package". I got access to the game now. Thought I couldn't activate it because I couldn't look at the game store page. I assumed because it has to do with ISIS, that it automatically is censored in Germany. Like that Nazi Bunker game, or many many more examples like that. My bad.

Now I know more. If it doesn't explicity state something like "This product is not available in your country" or something like that. I can probably activate it.

Censorship in Germany is so down bad, that we can't even purchase the majority of nsfw games, because they want to protect the youth. Steam for whatever reason decided it doesn't want to mess around with it at all and prevents adults from buying these sort of games too. Then we also got censorship on WW2-related things, like Wolfenstein, where they had to replace the model and voice actor of the mustache guy, get rid of any nazi imagery, and other things, which arguably made the game worse for Germany only. And not so popular games or the games in that category of studios that don't bother handling the paperwork for Germany (so they are allowed to use historical material for documentary purposes in games) can't even be purchased over here. Then we also got censorship on terrorism, violence, and what not.

I hope by moving to the border between Germany and Switzerland in 6 months, I bypass this censoring by permanently moving the Steam accounts location to another country.
