First the name did catch my fancy, but I stayed for the graphic :)

I'm a fan of pixel art and RPGs, though pocket monsters are not a huge thing for me. My kid has been enjoying Alpha Sapphire though, so he might also enjoy this.

I've played a little bit of the developer's previous game, Nuumonsters, and I like the art style for this one as well. This one looks like a more polished imagining of what the developer was after with the monster catching genre.

I always have a soft spot for monster taming game with pixelated graphics, even if it is uses gbc colors

I'm always more interested in imitators of popular series than in the originals, because imitators end up with better execution. Imitators aren't constrained by the need to follow formulas, use mandatory mascots and characters, promote repetitive ideas, and so on. So it's always interesting to see what the next result will be.

It is very much gen 2 pokemon-esque which is my favorite! Also highlights (to me) are story, the amount of monsters, and of course, fishing!

i love the old pokemon games gen 4 and before, ive played coromon which was similair and loved that one as well so ill probably love this one also

My last pokemon game was blue and I sort of want to experience some of that nostalgia again. That might not sound grand when written but it sorta is. Hard to explain tho =P

A fan of the name and the screenshots reminded me of 2nd gen Pokemon games, so the nostalgia factor for me.

The static in the trailer and description saying you're looking for your lost friend infer there will be some horror vibes, and I think a horror themed creature collector would be sick as hell.

I was born in the pixel era. Molded by it. I didn't see a 3D model until I was a man.
