If you want to leave a comment tell me which historical warriors you think are the coolest. For me, I'd say the Hawaiians. They were big, strong people, some were even estimated to be 7 feet tall. They had clubs with sharks teeth embedded in them so when you hit your enemy the teeth would shatter inside the wound, and if you didn't bleed out the infection would kill you eventually. Brutal.

Probably cliche, but the Vikings are my favorite historical warriors. Not only were they excellent at survival skills (winter in northern climates is no joke), but as individuals they were the fiercest pound-for-pound fighter for centuries. It took the entire might of the Roman Empire just to push back a few clans that weren't even working together, and even then they were never conquered. They had the wanderlust for exploration, the taste of adventure, and the love of seafaring and the winds that carried them to distant lands (and back to their homeland). Plus, they had good taste in women, clearly. ;-p

Probably the Celts.
But there is a really good series of books about Romans and carrying on "The Empire" called Procurator . by Kirk Mitchel.
