We seem to have survived the first week of 2025, largely by not making any sudden moves and by hibernating a bit now that the cold has finally come to town. I've seen a bunch of marvelous movies over the last week, trying to catch up after a couple of months of being too busy to indulge - Wicked, The Brutalist, Babygirl, Nickel Boys, and the remastered release of A Clockwork Orange. Next up: Nosferatu.
This is an old key, newly revealed, and should work like new. If you have trouble with it, please let me know.

I recently saw and adored:
We're No Angels (1955)
starring Humphrey Bogart, Aldo Ray, Peter Ustinov, Joan Bennett, & Basil Rathbone.
This gem is a Christmas Noir/Drama/Comedy, but the characters don't know they are in a comedy.
"Three Devil's Island escapees hide out in the house of a kindly merchant and repay his kindness by helping him and his family out of several crises."
