Did you know that back in the day, one of the most highly-prized plunder for pirates was medicine?

side note: pirates did not actually bury treasure
there is not a single documented case of pirates burying treasure, or of buried treasure ever having been found

Well, as far as I've found, there are (very few) cases where pirates have buried treasure (like William Kidd and Francis Drake). There's almost no use cases for burying treasures though. William Kidd tried to clean his name (and failed), which is why he had to come ashore without any stolen treasure. Francis Drake got too much treasure, so he buried some of it.

This is a wonderful game! I played many hours of it pre-steam, and a bunch on steam. Thank you for your generosity!

I didn't know that.
What I do know about pirates is that they dressed in fancy clothes (picture captain Hook from Peter Pan) because it was illegal. Fancy clothes were only allowed to members of the upper class.
