Maybe those keys were bought from KINGUIN after Gamescom, after what Kinguin had free 2€ coupon :) I missed it cause didn't have time to see for good games and next day got info that those coupons were limited and already ran out :P
There was a €2 coupon in kinguin some days ago, one of the "free" games was Dead Rising 2: Off the Record.
Seems like someone took this opportunity to farm some CV.
That would explain the small but still higher than usual givaway rate for the game. So I will take this explanation since it sounds reasonable. Thanks for the information.

Mate, I got it working by just simply clicking that little copy icon and paste it into the activation window. I hit next and it worked.
