I recently enjoyed the game Grow Home. I found it neat that unlike most 3D platformers, it focused more on vertical over horizontal scale. It's also fun to glide around in the air. It's quite simple overall, but the unique approach to 3d platformers really makes up for that.

Although it's not new, I've been putting all my free time into Total War War Hammer II. I played Druchii on table top, so it's great to be able to see their roster come to life.
