50% of the fun from collecting is collecting. The other 50% is sharing your collection. In my last cart, I've shared my own collection. And now I want to know: do you have any collections? If so, what do you collect? Share with us. Post pictures if you can! I'd love to see them.

I think I gave my collections to my mother to show to her students, but I used to collect rocks and coins. I had most/all of the state coins for the US and some others from various friends/relatives. But now I'm downsizing my collections as much as possible, at least anything other than digital collections like Steam/Gamepass. I miss the physical aspect of collecting stuff but it was hard to keep track of and store, so it must go.

That sounds like a very interesting collection! But I understand. A collection can very quickly become a burden if you're not careful on how you approach it.

are Steam keys a collection? hella yes, i would say. that, Steam keys.
also, won't show it here :P

That's no fun. This is the safest place in the world to show all those strings of numbers and letters. No one will ever do anything to them here.

I used to collect phonecards when I was a kid, like almost everyone else here in the 90s.
I also like to "collect" quotation marks because I don't have many and are stored in several places.. perhaps I don't even remember all of them those little soaps you can find in many hotels' bathrooms.
Oh, and pens :D
I thinks that's all

If you get the soaps from actual hotels you've been in... that's very exciting!

Yup, that's why I don't have many 😅
To be fair, I also have some "gifted" by people who stayed in hotels and know I'm collecting them.

I like to go beachcombing for glass (smoothed out so not sharp) and other goodies (neat driftwood, stones, etc.). I used to go with my parents, but now I go with my girlfriend.
I have some screenshots on my Steam page of some of the collection. I put them in various glass containers. For example, I have an empty maple syrup jar that I put brown beach glass in. That way, it looks like it is full of syrup!

I had never heard of that before. That's interesting! I looked at your pics. You can really do some awesome designs inside the jars with all the different formats and colors. Zoey is the cutest btw

I guess you could say I collect snowglobes? I'm pretty sure I only bought one of them though, all of the other ones have been gifts from other people. Don't have any photos of the whole bunch for now, but I can see the collection growing eventually!
This got me to think about the whole thing and man, it's wild how life works... I think it started out with just wanting a snowglobe because I liked the idea when I was little (but I conveniently forgot to tell anyone, ever) and eventually faded out until I played the scene in Life is Strange where you can accidentally break Chloe's snowglobe. I loved that game so much when I played it for the first time, it might just have been the catalyst. Still haven't seen any snowglobes with does in real life, though!

Thinking about how we start collecting is certainly endearing. For me, I suppose my feelings towards physical media started back when I was really young and me, my dad and my brother would go to the rental store almost every week and rent tons of vhs tapes and, later, dvds. I loved everything about the experience, from walking around, choosing what movies we were going to get, to watching them later. Thank you for sharing, and I bet a nice shelf with tons of snowglobes arranged on top of it would lend to one hell of a picture!

I don't know if it counts as collecting, but I'm trying to buy some little glass cut by laser which shows an important monument or symbol wherever I go to visit. My wife is a real hoarder tho, she has a shot glass collection which we can't even get it from her mother's house. I a bit scary if you ask me...
Also thanks for the game, appreciated 😁

Ooooooh, I can think of some fun stuff to do with that shot glass collection!

Sorry for the delay. Somehow, sg wasn't showing this giveaway on my "created" list and I only found out about it now. I thought I had sent all the keys from my carts.

Haha no worries, I forgot it yesterday as well :)
