This has been free on epic a few times and if you're the type of person who uses steamgifts there's a good chance it's in your library

This comment makes zero sense. What does getting it free on EGS have anything to do with there being a good chance if you use Steamgifts that it's in your Steam library? Steamgifts giveaways are only for Steam games.

I actually appreciate these comments. I try to make sure I hide games that I pick up on other platforms so I don't take away the opportunity for someone who doesn't own it, but I don't always remember to do so for the free games from epic or twitch. I'm not one to enter to +1 my library, but sometimes I forget I picked up a backlog game on another platform (grrr Rebel Galaxy).

One day I'll have to suffer the embarrassment of asking for a reroll cause I missed that owned the game on another platform (I make sure to double check before claiming). These kinds of comments help me push that day out a little further into the future.

(I think I just repeated myself 3 times. I should go get coffee already.)

Okay, what you are stating in this comment makes sense. I thought you were referring to "your library" as your Steam library, not your game library in general. Thanks for clarifying that.

I definitely understand what you mean as I add games to my ignore list on Steam if I have them on another platform.
