Hello everyone! It was my name-day two days ago (30th October), so I thought - time for something extra.
In case you wonder, what is name-day? Well - here in Poland our first tradition was to celebrate not birthday, but name-day. It originates from Catholic tradition - believers named after a certain Saint would celebrate that Saint's feast day. Nowadays we also celebrate our birthdays, so twice the gifts for us :)
Back to the GA - I'm a big sci-fi fan. "Aliens" was one of the first movies I got to see in a cinema. It was the end of the '80, I was about 10 years old and friend of mine saw it earlier and said "let's go to see this movie, it's cool, they shoot each other with lasers". I saw the whole thing, but was scared shitless, couldn't sleep for a few days :) Well - today I sleep fine and love the whole Alien franchise. Usually I do not like survival horrors, but this one is an exception. I think that Alien setting + survival horror blend ideally. The game itself is one is of my favourites, though I haven't played it much - yet. Next one in line after Witcher 3.
And one surprise for the winner of this giveaway. It is not the ordinary Alien Isolation - it is Alien Isolation Ripley Edition. The winner will also receive the keys for Crew Expendable and Last Survivor DLCs - to celebrate my birthday (15th October). I decided not to split this package into separate giveaways. If you own the base game, you cannot enter to get DLCs alone.

We have the same tradition in Italy, though we don't really give presents for it.
Alien is definitely a master piece of a movie. I was too young when it came out on cinemas so I never got to see it on a big screen.
I am surprised they let you in the cinema when you were 10 to watch Alien.

I had heard name-day before but had no idea of the meaning, aways thought was just another word for birthday! Learning something every day! Thank for that alone!

In spanish we call it "Saint's Day", but it's the same catholic tradition you mention! And I would have had tons of nightmares if I saw Alien when I was 10, I saw it in my 20s and still thought it was a masterpiece! I really like the twist they did with Aliens, got really bored with the 3rd one in the prison and Resurrection was just "ok", Prometheus started strong but lost steam along the way too... all that said this game looks amazing, taking back the suspense of the first film!
Thanks a lot for your GA, I have yet to finish Witcher 2 to properly transition into Witcher 3 myself (only played a couple of hours and was amazed by the world, although my laptop struggled a little bit).
