NOTE 1: it's not advisable to spam thank me if you haven't won the giveaway.
NOTE 2: I've been summarily BLACKLISTING people who create giveaways with warnings like "only enter if you agree to allow me to delete this giveaway if the key doesn't work". If you believe there's a high probability that a key might be invalid, you shouldn't be using it in a giveaway, PERIOD. Problems with keys should be the exception, NOT the rule.
I hear you on #2. While I don't mind the request as much personally, the ones that really get me are the ones that say something like "Please type out the words 'I agree to delete blah blah blah' to enter". I'm not doing that, lol
note 2 is a serious problem here. My blacklist grew so massively in the recent weeks. Good to see there are some other thinking people.
Imagine you win the lottery and then get a notice that they dont have anything to give you. This is just scamming people and should be harshly punished in my opinion, e.g. instant ip bans for breaking the rules.
I hit the 1000 user limit and the only way I managed to free up space was to unblock level 0 and 1 users and start only making level 2+ public giveaways.
Note that none of those user-made rules can be enforced, according to SteamGift's rules. It's always up to the winners to accept or not the deletion of a giveway.
Most of my giveaways are limited to my whitelist and members of the [>NF<] Noobs Forever Game Servers Steam group.
