Well whatever the reason, I hope you take a step back and reconsider this stuff, man.
There's this weird effect I've seen in social media where people get so accustomed to being dipped in the shit-sauce that they start to mutate into passive-aggressive character-assassination machines, though that's usually due to the degrees of seperation, character limits and so forth.

There's a real danger of turning into something you hate when it comes to online stuff these days. Catharsis is cheap and easy, and the urge to give someone a love-tap when they leave themselves open can be damn tempting. I get that. But we have to be careful not to get too comfortable with the notion of swinging at every soft target, y'know? It's habit forming, and the more you do it, the looser that standard gets. It's like how so many of the rabid alt-rights and their counterpart false progressives in discourse start out with a small leaning, and then end up snowballing through the layers of madness by getting too focused on either the content their bubble propagates, or making it too much of a game about taking cheap shots whenever they can get one on their preferred opponent (be it someone genuinely deserving of a slap, or a manufactured over-reach just to feel the rush regardless of actual guilt, they stop caring after a while so long as they can get their swings in).

If I came off too rough in those comments, my bad. I just hate to see people doing that kind of stuff, especially when they can be above it. My memory is garbage so I usually take people on their individual posts rather than risk mixing them for someone else. I know it isn't the first time you've done this, but I also recall after you cooled off / got talked down, you seemed to realise the mistake (or at least give enough benefit of the doubt to step back).

Just... I dunno. Take a breather. Clear your head. Either the summer heat or the social game will drive you mad one way or another ;P The fact you are able to re-examine what happened afterwards speaks well of you, but the real trick is getting ahead of the whole trajectory and stopping the (undeserved) grumps before they launch. Figuring out what is and isn't deserved is the tricky part, heh.
