Yet you cannot make up custom rules. The only rules that matter are those of Steamgifts. If you cannot deliver a working key and the winner doesn't agree with the giveaway being deleted then it's their right and they are supposed to give you a "Not Received" feedback.

Thank you so much for clearing that up. I was pretty sure that you can't make a stipulation like "you agree to delete the giveaway if you're the winner and the code doesn't work"
@gladiator80: Seeing as you can't make that kind of rule on giveaways & because you were so quick to try and get me to comply with deleting the giveaway instead of doing the right thing and trying to work out a form of compensation with me then I am making the choice to mark this giveaway as "not received".

I understand that it is noted in the giveaway description but I'm not sure that you're actually able to do that.
The guidelines of this site clearly state "All giveaways must be for Steam redeemable gifts or Steam redeemable keys."
The FAQ of this site says...
"When should I mark a gift I won as "Received" or "Not Received"?
You should only mark a gift as "Received" when you have both (i) received the exact game described in the giveaway, and (ii) activated that game on the Steam account you used during registration. In all other instances you should mark the gift as "Not Received" one week after the giveaway has ended."
