I get a few alts, if you hit limits on CS/TF2 items or want to collect games for your children (or other reasons) but what do you need 27 (or even 10+) accounts for? save exploiting bugs :(
They are used for exploiting bugs and generosity of the free game givers to make profit. I heard of a Russian from my friend who has 100 + accounts which he uses to collect free games and make money from cards and being in Russia the games are a lot cheaper than ROW so just idling gives a lot of money when he buys games as cheap as 6cents!
Unfortunately I did (on another GA) and it turned out to be a CDKey & not a valid Steam code. Oh well. I'm going to mark it not received when the option becomes available.

yup the bug was fixed in a few hours but from the looks of it he owns minimum 23 steam accounts
Update from Hiro - 4 more were removed by mod so 27 steam accounts still now :D

It was there in a humble bundle. I bought it from there so you would have got the game much more cheap than steam.
