Since we're in the wilds of 2019 and keys are not as eternal as we once thought they were, I need to say this:
This key is an old key. It was purchased several years ago. To the best of my knowledge, it's as fresh as it was the day it was bundle-bought. I haven't used it, and I haven't given it away. However, many indie developers revoke unused keys these days for no reason, so it's not possible to rely on keys the way we did once.
If the key doesn't work, please contact me. If I can fix the issue I certainly will.
Assuming the key works, is it for Complete Edition like it says on steam store, or some old version with just the base game?

Good question. I believe it will unlock the Complete Edition, which is the only package still sold on Steam; the Complete Edition is also the only option in the Steamgifts database. In my experience with legit game keys from old bundles, it's unusual for keys to open old versions of the game that are no longer being sold when there is a current version in the store.

Hey, could you look at Shalandir message below and tell us where did you bought the key? :) I guess if it's not from some shady site it should work and turn into CE even if it wasn't originally.

I can't guarantee that it will be the Complete Edition, but @LinustheBold is correct - it should be. Often times when developers upgrade owners of base games to include "Complete" or "Gold" edition content, they overwrite the old subID they were using in the Steam databases, so essentially it is the same key. I'd probably bet 80% likely this will auto-rollover into the Complete Edition [even if it wasn't a CE originally], unless the key was tagged as a comp (complimentary) - not sure where Linus bought it, so it might have been generated as a comp key for whichever reseller they went through.
