When Cathy grabs the amulet the symbols lights up one by one and as the final symbol turns on it's as if the air bends in on itself and both Katie and Nordh materializes in an embrace in front of you. They both look as shocked as you, and Cathy exclaims "Katie, I was just thinking of you and how you would have loved to see this!"
Nordh explains how he had seen some shimmer happening around Katie and rushed in to protect her, and the next second they were just standing here.
"It must be some sort of teleportation amulet!", you say. And before you can think of anything else the amulet starts glowing again and the shimmer surrounds both Cathy and Katie.
You get pushed hard from behind and into the ladies. Just as you're wisped away you can hear Nordh saying "Please, forgive me."
You, Katie and Cathy are standing in the middle of an apartment. "Mom, I just wanted to be home with you", Katie says with tears in her eyes and hugs her mom. You're left bewildered, not sure what just happened, but you have a feeling Nordh had plans for this.
To follow Nordh's tale and reach the end, solve the final puzzle with your 29 puzzle pieces

Just one more step left. :)

Hint was just added. :)

Last step I'm coming! I've a great idea of what the last step is but not sure of how I'll use what I'll find.
Comment has been collapsed.
Great job getting here!

pieces 9 and 21 are a bit troublesome. Look like it can "normally" never happen. (If I'm on the right track of how using the clues ^^)

Hint was just added. :)

I still haven't found what i'm looking for.
Comment has been collapsed.
Is it me you're looking for?
Comment has been collapsed.
Yes, No, Maybe. Can you repeat the question?
Thought nailing it with the hint, but no. :/
Comment has been collapsed.
It will come to you.
Comment has been collapsed.
Not a single idea about what i have to do with "puzzle pieces". On lower level puzzles at least i knew we had a theme (Aliens, Greece etc.) so the search was narrowed :)
Comment has been collapsed.
Hint was just added. :)
Comment has been collapsed.
Hint allowed me to look at the codes in other way. As a result i immediately found what they represent :)
Comment has been collapsed.
Still not enough to go further though. Maybe enlightment will come with the morning sun - time to go to sleep :D
Comment has been collapsed.
Good luck tomorrow. :) Glad the hint helped, but didn't instantly solve it! No fun in that.
Comment has been collapsed.
If it's too much of a hint you don't have to answer but at least i'll try :)
Are "missing puzzles" important or are we supposed to work only with what we've got?
Comment has been collapsed.
Do you mean "where they are can be just as important as where they aren't."?
Comment has been collapsed.
I mean "i have few puzzles missing as 29 is not a complete set" and "am i wasting time thinking about this few puzzles instead of concentrating on what i have?" :D
Comment has been collapsed.
29 is the number to have. :) (even confirmed in the text above)
Comment has been collapsed.
Ehh, all puzzles set. Several times checked if they're in right places. Looking at it for few hours already. Guess i'm not yet ready to land on the wall of fame in my first adventure with Puzzle Agency :D
Comment has been collapsed.
Even with another hint i still cannot solve this...
Comment has been collapsed.
Same here :(

Joining in the pain chain.
Comment has been collapsed.
Me too. I haven't een the faintest idea. We have 29 strings of random characters. We could do anything with them, maybe we need to eat them?
Comment has been collapsed.
Well i know what to do with those codes but it still gives me nothing :D
Comment has been collapsed.
Same, or at least I think it is what he wants us to do with it according to hint 3. It still looks like nothing.
Comment has been collapsed.
I knew where to put the codes somwehere around time when Hints 1 and 2 were posted. Hint 3 still gives me absolutely nothing :D
Comment has been collapsed.
Glad to know I'm not the only one who just doesn't see it.Solved.
Comment has been collapsed.
Still stuck. Codes placed, but I can't figure out what to do next. I tried so many ways but nothing, nothing... Hints still didn't help, as I don't see anything meaningful in the result. My brain is boiling...
Comment has been collapsed.
Wow, this is hard... I did... something... with the codes... but... eh... looks complicated but doesn't tell me anything :)
Comment has been collapsed.
Looks at the puzzle pieces...
Well dis is confusing >_<
Comment has been collapsed.
Where's the puzzle? :/
Comment has been collapsed.
Haven't you collected all 29 pieces along the way? That's the puzzle.
Comment has been collapsed.
OK then...

I won't solve the final puzzle even if i'd be sitting over it all night long
Comment has been collapsed.
I am stuck too.. I was 5th to get here.. I must be too stupid that even 3 hints wouldn't help me.
Comment has been collapsed.
I don't think it has anything to do with stupidity. It might simply be something we've never seen before, and our brains just can't see the solution.Solved.
Comment has been collapsed.
placed the codes, now I just have to find out where that leads me.
omw to the very top :)
Comment has been collapsed.
Hey Nordh, would like to send you a GA for another hint. you don't want to see my excel sheet with all my various notes!
Comment has been collapsed.
Can do tomorrow (it's 2.30 AM now)
Comment has been collapsed.
I'm with you on the intense spreadsheet. Thanks for getting us another hint!
Comment has been collapsed.
My pleasure! It actually did help when I followed the hint instructions :-)
Comment has been collapsed.
Heh, Hint 4 gives me even less help than Hint 3 :|
Comment has been collapsed.
Then perhaps you just need to rethink what you think you know. ^^
Comment has been collapsed.
I've positioned the codes where they need to be. When i repainted the board using these pieces i received an image which looks like completely nothing i knew. I also tried like 5 or so different "repaintings" just in case.
Then today i found something that looks very similar to the created image... but unfortunately it's not it.
I'm starting to get frustrated more and more with every next person solving the puzzle (frustrated at myself, not at them - i admire them)

ALL HINTS IN ONE MESSAGE
Maybe this will help, as his way of splitting up hints is a bit bothersome.
It certainly helped me.
1) 1 character in the 4 character codes is not even needed. However, it does give you a hint on where to put the codes.
2) Once all 29 codes have been positioned, carefully examine their placement. Where they are is just as important as where they aren't.
3) 29 pieces to repaint the board, what cubism art will be revealed?
4) Once hint 3 has been taken care of, the pieces are no longer of relevance, you can shove them off the board.
5) The cipher used will always start with the same character when encoding an alphanumerical character. Use this to your advantage, not only to figure out the cipher, but also to confirm your other findings.
Comment has been collapsed.
Still nothing for me :( Even the small change in Hint 3 is not helping. Probably did something wrong at Hints 1&2 level but no more ideas as for now :(
Now i want January 19th to come soon so i'll no longer think about it....
Comment has been collapsed.
I am probably not in the cubism art enough, as I am still stuck :(

Compared to the others, where we had a theme to google for, this one is comparatively quite painful.
Comment has been collapsed.
I'd argue the very opposite. But I can't go into the arguments without spoilers. =P

Thanks for the notification, edited.

So far I've got "50%" of the solution (I guess :P), but don't know for sure where/how to apply ;)... great puzzle, too bad I currently don't have more time for it. Well, still 2 weeks left ;>... this really is awesome, eager to find out what's its solution, one way or another, hehe.
Comment has been collapsed.
You just need something to click. :)
Comment has been collapsed.
Hmm, I'm kinda lost and kinda overthinking it perhaps... I feel like a real life version of Russel Crowe as John Nash, hehe ;>... just wanted to tell you once again that this is a truly awesome puzzle and ask - if I shouldn't solve it in time - if you reveal the correct solution afterwards :)?
Comment has been collapsed.
Yes, I will post the solution to at least the puzzles.
Comment has been collapsed.
It's been like 2 days now, I think I might have to give up. I'm clearly missing something. I have all the puzzle pieces in position, but I can't make heads or tails of what's next.
Comment has been collapsed.
Even with the new hints?
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, I'm sure I'm missing something simple. But no matter how many times I look at it, I can't seem to figure out what it might be.
Comment has been collapsed.
Holy carp, I figured it out. After thinking about it and talking with my SO we finally got it. Hint 5 was a huge help for me.

which games are at the top of the pyramid? please tell me, i'll decide if it's worth the trouble. the whole thing was very interesting, but i saw only 3-4 ok games.
Comment has been collapsed.
There are 30ish games at the top, not gonna list them. Partly because it would be too much of a hassle of getting a list of the top games since I have to write them down one at a time while looking at them. If you're only taking part in an event like this for the GAs, it's not worth the trouble. It's better you leave the good games at the top to people who enjoy solving puzzles for the sake of solving puzzles. They are the ones I created this for. :)

but i enjoyed it! =) either way - thanks)

Ok, i´m lost. The codes are in the right spot but i don´t know what to do :(

same...

Are we still looking for a itstoohard address ?
Comment has been collapsed.
Yes.
Comment has been collapsed.
Alright, so the answer of the clue is a 8 digits code. I gess not being english native speaker does not help..
Comment has been collapsed.
Last puzzle has no language barrier, it's only pure puzzle solving. :)
Comment has been collapsed.
you sadistic genius ! :D
Comment has been collapsed.
I get 8 symbols but... they aren´t letters or number or... anything :(
Comment has been collapsed.
There's a saying in swedish, which literally translated means "Do again, do right". Gör om, gör rätt. It rolls much better off the tongue in swedish though. :P
Comment has been collapsed.
I re-thinked it after fifth hint, but still no result :( I have something, but don't know, how to get the 8 symbols I need from it :(
Comment has been collapsed.
Unbelievably hard. You probably outdid yourself this time. Literally no idea what to do with these codes, no idea how to position them, no idea of what cipher and no idea of what the hints could even mean. Lost completely. :/
I truly admire those who solved this with such little information... Tried various ciphers went nowhere.
Comment has been collapsed.
Imagine the first solvers who did it without a single hint. :)
Comment has been collapsed.
I simply can't imagine! :P
Anyway so many hints but I keep feeling that they are all pushing me in wrong directions instead of right ones...
I fail to understand even one of them and cipher seems way too complex to guess/find this time... Definitely your hardest agency puzzle so far (for me at least and in terms of hints that don't seem to help :/ ).
Comment has been collapsed.
But the last two even tells you where to look and what to look for. :O Now you're just being lazy. ;P
Comment has been collapsed.
Nope not lazy. Just stupid probably or anyway not smart enough to figure anything here.
Truth is I've spent some time with these hints too, and believe it or not they did not help me one bit in finding anything, yes not even the cipher used... It's either way too obvious and I'm blind, or too complex almost as if it uses multiple encryption which feels crazy as hell. :/
It may seem obvious to you since you know the answer (obviously), but what I hate more is the fact that I've solved around ~70% or so of the puzzle agency puzzles, and this one does not seem to share anything in common with the previous ones, despite the fact that you hinted that it is. Maybe its one of those few that I did not solve...
Comment has been collapsed.
How many PA cases did you go back and look at?
Comment has been collapsed.
Actually did a fast scan through all and it did not help. :/ But the bad thing is you have not posted solutions in many of them (at least from what I saw), so I just had a fast look through their hints etc. Of course it's too much of a hassle to re-solve them from scratch. I mean I don't have THAT much time on my hands anyway and I'm sure no-one has. Anyway from what I gather it probably has to do with one of the earlier cases that I did not solve completely through to the end, for the same reason. Some times it's just too hard to get into your brain. Or some ciphers are just simply beyond me as it seems. Sorry.
I would probably buy a hint, but since none of the other ones helped me in this puzzle, it would be pointless.
Comment has been collapsed.
Next hint I would tell you the case to look at mentioned in hint 6 (even though I've mentioned the same fact several times over the course of the story). That way there's basically no way of not knowing what cipher is used at least. :) And based on that the other pieces may just fall in place.
Comment has been collapsed.
Nice but useless for me, since I already know which case it is. And its indeed a case I have not solved. Solution is not posted on that one either, so it's still impossible to guess the cipher so that's that. :/ I do have a hunch on what you are referring to when mentioning the thing with the first character, but it doesn't seem to apply in any of the provided characters. At least I can't apply it because I'm probably missing something obvious? I don't know. And that cubism hint in fact makes me more confused instead of being helpful...
Comment has been collapsed.
I'm not telling anyone to solve an old case. Just to find what cipher is needed to solve this.
Is the problem that you haven't figured out at all what to do with the 29 codes? That's step one. The cipher is step two.
Comment has been collapsed.
Correct, I'm at point zero. At least now I know that I don't even need the cipher yet. But even finding the relevant case, did not help on finding the cipher, so keep that in mind. (I guess it would help if I had solved that case at the time)
Comment has been collapsed.
Still, no. Solving old cases has no relevance on finding the cipher I'm talking about in the hint.
Comment has been collapsed.
I think I "might" have got a revelation moment about the first step, and the funny part is that none of the hints were a reason for it. Let me check it out first though, before throwing a party.
Comment has been collapsed.
Hint 7 (thanks DarkX13!) doesn't tell us which case to look at. :(
Comment has been collapsed.
He knew already, so I didn't want to give him a hint he wouldn't be able to gain anything from.
Comment has been collapsed.
Ah, that makes sense. I was just hoping to save the time of going back through the old PA cases.
Comment has been collapsed.
No need to go through them. I'm not asking anyone to solve old cases, that would be too mean. :)
Comment has been collapsed.
Ok, solved :D

So this is where everyone gets stuck! Means it's time for me to take a break :D
