so far i have pre ordered all blizzard games, im pretty sure they could have walked on stage during blizzcon and showed a picture of a cow and said ''new expansion in 3 years, nobody knows what it is or if it will contain any new content, but you can pre order already for $70" and i would have pre ordered it <.<
Started in 2005/6. Then had a break for a year. Afterwards played from 2008 to 2013. Everyday. And not just 1h a day. There was a year and a half, pretty bad for me personally, when I spent 8h+/day in WoW. Every single day. So yeah, sunk well above 10k hours in this game. Looking from perspective I don't regret it. Met a friend there, and we're best friends now, for life. Neither of us plays WoW anymore, but we meet occasionally, and when not we pretty much chat online everyday. The kind of "old married couple" friendship.
Sadly, the beginning of 2014 brought a stop to my WoW days. I just couldn't stand it any longer. That new expansion. I'm torn, because one side of me(a lore maniac)always dreamed of playing a demon hunter. Most badass characters in Warcraft for me. But when it becomes reality, and I see the execution of it, imagining thousands of people jumping. Just no :P Never had such problems with DK, but DH is something much different for me. When you delve into WoW lore, there were just a few of them, beings of immense power. Making them into playable character waters it all down :P
And poor Illidan, even after death they won't let him rot in peace...
TL;DR:
I played WoW too much, but can't anymore. Maybe will though, some day... We'll see.™
