Still I shouldn't have to. I try not to join giveaways when I have a good amount of stuff in the package. I would hope that people who are lvl 4+ would have a good conscience.

eh, u'd be surprised how many lvls 4+ dont really care about it or dont actually show any signs of having a conscience at all :P

Ahh you would be surprised, recently I rerolled a giveaway because the winner had literally every game in the bundle (and he was lvl 7 IIRC)

My take on it is this:
If it costs you more to buy the individual components yourself, than to buy the bundled/GOTY version, you can enter, since you'd be paying the same amount as anyone else, yourself, were you to ever purchase it directly. Ergo, the gain is comparable for both types of entrants.
If it's cheaper for you to get the individual components, then in most cases, my take is "you shouldn't be selfish, let people that benefit more have it".
Well, in this case, I don't even own the base game, so it's an easy deliberation :D

Yeah... like others said, there are all kind of people in this world, and in this community too, so worst case scenario, just ask a reroll.
If the game has a ton of DLCs or expensive DLCs (+$20) and I own the base game I enter as long as OP is fine.

Popular AAA game, level 4, short timer and a lot of entries, awesome! But since I'm not really into Civ games I doubt I'd enjoy it so I'll rather pass, would feel like an ass if I won.
I'm generally not into 4X games, but I am kinda interested in Arcen Games's upcoming Stars Beyond Reach. That one looks interesting, check it out if you're into 4X.
