Thank you so much for the giveaway! Glad to have another on SteamGifts. It's a great website where everybody wins. Good choice of game as well! Multiple copy gifts are the best, makes the rest of us feel like there's a real chance to win. I'm currently replaying through all of the Final Fantasy games, which means I get to play a few that I never have before (Final Fantasy IV: The After Years). I'm only up to V so far, but I'm very excited to get into my favorite entries. Namely VII, but I also adore VIII and IX. Good times ahead!

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines for favorite game, Final Fantasy X for most respected game (as far as production/atmosphere goes; the music quality alone, wow), Trine 2 or Saints Row 3 for favorite co-op game, probably Peggle or Smash Bros for favorite franchise/concept, Card/Board/Racing/4X/Colony+CitySim games for favorite genres (meaning the other games/concepts were just that stand-out :P).

Chrono Trigger's a stand-out as well, definitely a game every JRPG-agreeable player should play once- the fact that the publisher has recently asked about what fans would want from a remake is definitely intriguing. Final Fantasy 8 done to a FF7 remake style (without the ridiculous, nonsensical "we all share a past!" ending aspect, ideally) would also make for a potentially interesting offering; FF8 was a game with far more potential than it actually utilized.

I felt that while the Paper Mario games were more ambitious as far as puzzling and game world, they [note that I only played the first two or three Paper Mario games] were less unique and engaging than Super Mario RPG on other aspects. Still, I haven't seen a bad Paper Mario game yet, and there's been quite a few sequels to date, so it's definitely a good franchise to be a fan of. ;')

Pity that Paper Mario's emphasis on the 2D/3D shifting over the emphasis on RPG/environment/narrative/etc aspects that Super Mario RPG had was a turn-off for me (do let me know if the more modern offerings shift that dynamic at all!). In that sense, Kingdom Hearts felt more like a successor to Super Mario RPG for me than Paper Mario did. :'P Sadly, I never got the chance to play any of the Mario & Luigi game series that carried on the 2D Mario RPG design, though I hear the games after the first (less well considered) one were pretty interesting/unique in their own right. Did you happen to play any of those, to be able to offer an opinion on them?

Addressing your wishlist:
Flower, ABZU, and Sky: Children of Light are made by the same creator as Journey and should share a similar vibe, I've seen comparisons made to it with Sable and Paws (the Shelter game spinoff).

There's a pretty high number of Lethal Company clones now (I've seen like 8 similar games through youtubers over the past year or two, most typically through the youtube channel IGP), and several are very well received (though less moddable at present) than Lethal Company, and unique in their own right. Definitely may want to look further into that, might be able to catch some similar games cheaper sooner. Some of the now plentiful backrooms co-op games also have a similar vibe, and far more broadly, Outlast Trials is often considered to share some more generalized similarities.

That's about all I can see to comment on, on the whole.

Though if you like PnC games in general and don't mind older, jankier offerings, The Longest Journey and its Dreamfall sequels are pretty unique and interesting. I'd also really recommend trying out the Cinematic Adventure Game genre (Telltale games, Deck Nine/Dontnod's Life is Strange series, other Dontnod games) if you haven't already, it's quite the engaging genre. From a more obscure indie PnC perspective, I also found Charnel House Trilogy to have a unique, engaging vibe- though, as an intended prequel to a larger Indie title, it's understandably not too ambitious of an offering. Still, it's cheap enough, regularly going on sale for $1 through Steam, and potentially cheaper elsewhere.

Split Fiction looks awesome, gonna add that to my own wishlist <3

PS: Welcome to SG, and happy anniversary! :)

My favourite games are the Final Fantasy series. Of those, it's Final Fantasy XI which I played for over 10 years straight, but they are all so good that it's really tough to single it down to a single game. It changes the more I think about it to FFX, FFXIV, FFX-2, FFVI, FFIV, etc, and rotates just thinking on it. <3
