An impish face pops out of the vase, lid clattering to the floor, and sticks its tongue out at you. Startled, you drop the vase, and it shatters into teeny tiny pieces on the hard cabin floor. So much for craftsmanship.
Still a little rattled, you hurry on to the next cart. When your surroundings seem to pulse and shimmer, you ignore it.
