Only Steam version.

Oh, Humble Bundle stopped selling the games as DRM-free? That sucks, I guess I'll stop supporting them.

I think you misunderstood what he said.

DRM-free versions are still there.

Wait, are you telling me he is keeping the DRM-free version for himself? But... isn't that something like piracy? No, there must be another explanation, perhaps there was an error with his bundle and it came without the DRM-free version. I recommend contacting the Humble Bundle support, simply telling them that you want to give the Steam key to somebody, but you're missing the DRM-free version to send along with it. I'm sure they'll help.

You seem to love to just hunt through this whole site calling everyone a pirate, but wouldn't a pirate just skip the bundle and... pirate it?

Apparently, "buying one copy and having two people get access to it" is easier for people to justify for themselves than "buying no copy and having one person get access to it". I'm not entirely sure why, because in both cases, I see one more person being able to play the game than what was agreed and paid for.

(And of course, that was the "guessing and common sense" approach. The formal approach is much simpler, leaving basically no room for interpretation: "Humble Bundle TOS do not allow sharing or other non-personal use, you are exploiting their trust, full stop.")

Yeah, DRM-free version is included, and if I share download link, that'll be like piracy, because it anyway still in my account. That's why I share only Steam key.

So you say that if Person A (you) has access to the game thanks to the DRM-free link, and Person B (the winner) has access to the game thanks to the Steam key, everything is okay... but if Person A has access to the game thanks to the DRM-free link, and Person B has access to the game thanks to DRM-free link or Steam key, then, and only then it would be piracy? All that with one purchase of the game? What's the difference? I'm genuinely curious.

If a Person have DRM-free link, he can share it with friends, or even sell it or create a giveaway like this one, that's not good. Steam key is for one person/account and you can't share or sell it if key was used. That's the difference.
BTW, in steamgifts.com "All gifts should be Steam redeemable CD keys or Steam gifts only."

So... you say that creating "a giveaway like this one" is wrong? Why did you do it then?

ad BTW: Common (and allowed by the site) way of gifting a Humble Bundle (or similar) is to send an unused "gift" URL -- i.e. a bundle that was, from the beginning, bought with the intention of giving it to somebody else. There are a few other exceptions allowed on SteamGifts, such as Origin keys for Battlefield 3 or keys for Minecraft.

But what if, hypothetically speaking, you already own a game on Steam before the bundle came out and paid above average because you don't want to pay 1$ for other games in the bundle. And now you have no use for Dustforce key, since you already bought it once and don't intend to use DRM free version of the game. Is that still piracy?

In that case, it can be morally justified, although you are still, technically, breaking rules by doing it. Humble Bundle pages explicitly say that you cannot do this, even if you already own the game. If you want to follow the rules precisely, then you can either activate the key on your alt Steam account (which is, in itself, okay), or you can keep it in case your main account gets closed by Steam and you need to open a new one, or you can let it "rot and disappear" -- which is what usually (not always) happens when you buy a game pack on Steam, if you already own some parts of it.

Okay, if you don't get the point... (my english is weak, maybe you don't understand me or understand, but wrong) I just give away a Steam redeemable CD key for free, what's the problem??? You want DRM-free, fine, go and buy it! Yes, I can not use it, but better I give it for someone, not sell it, just give it, because I don't need it and someone will be happy, that's the point of steamgifts.com, and no matter where I bought it. Calm down guys, and peace!

Again the misconception that making one person happy justifies breaking rules. It does not. By being nice to one winner, you are saying "f* you" to those who wrote this.

If SteamGifts were about making people happy regardless of the rules broken in the process, then we could just move the site o'er to tha Bay o' the Pirates, that'd definitely make some people happy. And yet we don't.

Oh, I really don't knew that... thanks for useful link, this does not happen again in the future. I do not want to engage in piracy. Thanks.

buy a gift version of it and voila, the links arent tied to your account anymore.. and you can "legally" give away the gift w/o worry..

Thanks a lot! It's kinda admirable that you beat the average even if you already had the actual bonus, sounds way better than the greedy individuals who just buy the bundles for the games, and not thinking in charity.
