I guess it is really funny for them, that a bunch of people honestly believe they might get something, and the winner especially.

I mean i'm good with regular porn but some people might need something else to get off.

I actually think they get the most pleasure by people wasting their time discussing over the possibility that the giveaway may be fake rather than people "wasting" their points on them, since points are free and there's absolutely no time wasted in clicking a button, even if it is for a fake giveaway.
I usually do enter most of them (if I like the game) because I always end up with wasted points anyway.

I don't know what are the reasons some newcomers to this site do it, but since there's precedence of some generous people actually delivering AAA games as their first GA, I think you have to give the benefit of the doubt.

And in any case the chances are much higher than someone who doesn't own the game and have it wishlisted (which is the more common case).
