When a giveaway is created, a percent of its value is added to everyone else's points. The points we spend are created when a giveaway is created. Using an alternate account to make giveaways in order to add points to a main account is a method of "gaming the system" on steamgifts. Please explain this any time you see someone asking the same question you just asked.
