In current Steam mechanics if cards are added you immediately get drops for the time played. So no need to wait for it, no iddling needed even with many hours like in the past.
Ahh, I meant it would magically get idled at that point, since so far I haven't tried playing it yet... :) Just didn't grab my attention for some reason... :)

Looks like I bought this one, didn't play it yet. Once the trading cards appear I'll magically get a couple hours in it, though...
