Mislim na ljude će vjerojatno shvatiti da ste zahvalni ako kažete "thank you".
Baš me zanima je li to neki protest protiv upotrebe engleskog jezika.

The general idea is to introduce something that will be different for the gifter, among the usual "Thanks" posts.
As a small reminder not everything in the world is English; and as a tidbit of knowledge the reader is imbued if they wish to find out what language was it written in.
Also as a selfish point of view, I write it in my language :D
Хорошего дня ^_^
