Now I can't resolve this problem, only the HB gift purchaser can do that contacting the HB Support Ninjas.
I'm very sorry for that and I know that is only my fault, so feel free to do what you prefer about it.
Oh hey, thanks for the heads up! That's an easy mistake to make, no worries. I've opened a ticket with them (somehow I found my email receipt from 2017 :D). Their support page says "Our average expected wait time for a first response is currently: 14+ business days."
I've added you on Steam so I can give you the new key assuming they're able to help eventually!
