My blacklist is close to reaching the 1000 user limit. So, from now on, my giveaways will be limited to my Steam group and my whitelist, at least until SteamGifts decides to increase the blacklist limit.

Honestly, you're right. I don't agree with the idea that someone just gets to delete a giveaway because there was an issue with it. the system should take this in consideration as a possibility, find a way to resolve it and then keep it archived as such. no deleting giveaways unless you change your mind, and even that should be communicated to the entrants.

Actually, the giveaway's creator always needs the winner(s) express consent to put in a request for a giveaway to be deleted. Otherwise, the win(s) will be marked as "not received", unless the owner is able to provide new keys or a solution like sending the game(s) to the winner(s) via Steam. And that's precisely the point. A couple of years ago, people would be extra careful not to use keys with a high probability of being invalid or duplicate. Now it's become the norm to just write a " disclaimer" on the giveaway's description, like "by entering you agree to have this giveaway deleted blah blah blah", which I find totally irresponsible.
Most winners will agree to have a giveaway deleted if there's a problem that the creator can't solve. I've made over 10K giveaways and, in the few occasions that I had a bad key and wasn't able to replace it, I never had a problem with winners not agreeing with the deletion of the giveaways. But those were exceptions. Currently, lack of responsibility has become the rule.
Again, no disclaimer on the giveaway's description can be enforced as a rule on SteamGifts. You create a giveaway, you're responsible for it, period.
