I've been asking some GA creators around, kind of a survey approach; why does it matter that you delete the GA instead of just letting the winner mark as not received?
There are no repercussions for this, nor for a high rate of received versus not received. Why do you prefer that the GA is deleted if you cannot provide a replacement key?

I'll venture a guess :)
On a more personal note, i assume it just feels bad having "failed" giveaways, and it's nicer to have a 100% giveaway rate.
On a more practical note, I believe some closed groups require that you have a "clean record", as in, all giveaways that you won must be redeemed, and I suspect some groups have rules regarding not having giveaways marked as "not received".

Sure, it's nice to have that rate (albeit a bit futile if you ask me; should you give to have some number popping up or should you give to make others happy?), but if one chooses to provide keys from shady sites or other sites that may expire their keys, that's a risk to take. That's the reason I never give away such keys here; I either go to other sites or just drop them in random places for people to find.
As for the closed groups, I believe you are then still circumventing/violating the rule groups by hiding your non-received keys.

That's inaccurate. Consequences are:
1. If you run a significant streak of Not Receiveds, or if you run enough total Not Receiveds, or if you run a high enough ratio of Not Receiveds (especially as a new account), staff will put you on Indefinite Suspension until you've cleared up some of your NRs.
2. If someone glances at your profile or hovers over your sent ratio, and notices sufficient NRs to go against their personal preferences, they may blacklist you.
3. Groups may restrict entry based on NR status, and I believe SGTools filters can also be configured to restrict against such.
4. It's sufficiently annoying to be bothersome, especially to those with organizational compulsions.
(Yarik did already mention a couple of these while I was typing this up; Apologies for the repetition.)
